Job Description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and driven Head Buyer. As Head Buyer you are responsible for the procurement policy. You play a crucial role in identifying new suppliers, negotiating purchasing conditions and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategic procurement policy that aligns with business goals.
• Identify new suppliers and negotiate purchasing terms.
• Lead the procurement team and promote cooperation and efficiency.
• Analyze market and trend data to inform purchasing decisions with sustainability in mind.
• Manage the procurement budget and strive for cost efficiency.
• Ensure optimal inventory control and rotation.

Your Profile:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a procurement role in the fashion industry.
• Extensive knowledge of procurement processes, market trends and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Results-oriented and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Command of the Dutch language
• Command of the English language is a plus
